You are all pioneers in the effort to create Aroostook County as the center of skiing in the United States. Results like today help make that happen.

It is just a bonus that you are all such great kids.

    Congratulations to all.

Congratulations – Sorry I couldn’t make it over to Winter Park from Montrose CO to support your effort. Great Job!

It seems strange to have moved to Presque Isle to teach at UMPI in 1970 having learned to xc ski at Western State College at Gunnison CO, to have spent over 30 years xc sking with frends & lamenting the fact that UMPI didn’t try starting a nordic ski team, only to move back to Colorado upon my retirement just 9 months ago and to have an UMPI team out here.

Thanks for all the support! We couldn’t have gotten this far without your tireless efforts to support our own!
